Obituary of Barbara Jeanette Marshall

Barbara Jeanette Marshall, age 69, of Pittsburg, passed away Thursday, December 3, at her home, surrounded by her family. Mrs. Marshall was born March 9, 1946 in Paducah, Texas to Eugene and Hattie Mae Morris. Barbara was a Registered Nurse and had a long and rewarding career in health care. She is survived by her son: Trae Marshall, of Pittsburg; daughter: Jackie McCandless and husband Alan, of Pittsburg; 4 grandchildren: Caleb Marshall, Hannah Marshall, Jessi McCandless and Shane McCandless and wife Joanie; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers: Sammy Morris, of Harleton, Larry Morris and wife Billie Ann, of Cookville; 2 sisters: Wanda Nix and husband Malvin, of Lone Star, and Margaret Morris, of Cookville; as well as a host of nieces and nephews and many dear friends. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Hattie Mae Morris, and a brother, Ronnie Morris. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 7 at Erman Smith Funeral Home, with Bro. Rex French officiating. Visitation will be held the hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Cookville Cemetery.
