I am so sorry for your loss. There is a scripture that has always comforted me it is taken from John 11:25-25 Jesus said to her: “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life." This scripture holds out the promise that we will see our loved ones again. I hope this has brought you comfort.
