Obituary of Bessie Victoria Humphrey Priddy

Bessie Victoria Humphrey Priddy, age 90, passed away Monday, October 26 in Pittsburg. Mrs. Priddy was born May 5, 1925 in Brisbane, Australia to William Humphrey and Alice Rush. She met and married the love of her life, Glenn Robert Priddy, while he was in Australia on a mission trip. Together they raised five children who continue a family legacy with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bessie is survived by three sons: Robert Andre Priddy and wife, Belinda of Marietta, TX, John David Priddy of Phoenix, AZ, and Fredrick Nathan Priddy of Pittsburg; two daughters: Judy Priddy of Pittsburg and Elizabeth Ruth Ericson and husband, Earle of Pittsburg; eight grandchildren: Glen Steven Priddy and wife, Cristina of Colorado Springs, CO, Amanda Ann Morina of Marietta, TX, Michelle Lee Coleman and husband, Kyle Coleman of Marietta, TX, Rebecca Diane Priddy of Portland, OR, Zachary Aaron Priddy of San Jose, CA, Robert John Ericson of Pittsburg, Jessica Victoria Ericson Duncan and husband, Aaron Kyle Duncan of Kuwait, and Nicole Rachelle Priddy of Pittsburg; nine great grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Robert Priddy, her parents, Williams and Alice Priddy, and five brothers. A memorial service may follow at a later date.
