Obituary of Dennis Zemke

Dennis Wayne Zemke, of Pittsburg, passed away Wednesday evening, February 8, at the age of 63. Dennis was born February 20, 1953 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Dewayne and Lynn Zemke. Mr. Zemke managed, as well as owned, several convenience stores in Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas before moving to Pittsburg where he managed the EZ Mart. In October 2006 he wed Sharon Buck Zemke. Dennis was a devoted father, husband, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife Sharon Zemke; two sons: Shannon Zemke and wife Candy, and Michael Zemke and wife Raylene; a step-son: Michael Buck and wife Stephanie; a step-daughter: Mindi Green and husband Ernest; 8 grandchildren: Audrey Zemke, Madison Zemke, Devon Opela, Cora Zemke, Nate Buck, Kira Green, Kinsey Buck, and Cooper Buck; as well as a sister: Kay Zemke. He was preceded in death by his parents: Dewayne and Lynn Zemke. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
