Obituary of Christine Smith

Rose Christine Smith, age 84, passed away Monday, February 6 in Katy, Texas. Christine was born July 23, 1932 in Hobart, Oklahoma. She worked as a seamstress for Mike Benet Formals for many years. She was a member of Emmaunel Baptist Church in Pittsburg prior to her move to Katy. She is survived by her son: Eric Smith of Houston; two sisters-on-law; several nieces and nephews, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband Haskell P. "Hank" Smith; and a son: Benjamin David Smith. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, February 10, at Rose Hill Cemetery in Pittsburg. Visitation with the family will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 9, at the funeral home.
