Obituary of Minnie Deloris Lindley

Minnie Delois Lindley, age 69, of Leesburg, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday evening, December 8, surrounded by her family and friends. Lolly, as she was known by those closest to her, was born on April 15, 1947 in Linden, Texas to Horace and Mildred Jenkins. She graduated from Chapel Hill High School in 1965. On October 11, 1965 she wed Kenneth Wayne Lindley in Leesburg, Texas. Over the next 51 years they would laugh, love and raise a family. Lolly is survived by her beloved husband, Kenneth Lindley; her daughter: Lisa Dawn Wedgeworth and husband Patrick of Tyler, and close family friend Pam Spearman and husband Tim of Pittsburg; father-in-law: D.W. Lindley, Sr., 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, one brother and one sister, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Horace and Mildred Jenkins, a son: Allen Wayne Lindley, and a sister. Graveside services will be held at 9:00 A.M. Saturday, December 10, at Smyrna Cemetery in Wood County with Bro. Larry Davis officiating.
