Obituary of Wilma Jean Coldsnow

Mrs. Wilma Jean "Willie" Coldsnow was born June 10, 1925in Newton, Kansas to George Clarence Ross and Ethel Mustard Ross and passed away November 29, 2016 in Tyler, Texas at the age of 91. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Pittsburg, Texas, She received her Bachelors degree from Wichita State University and taught school while living in Kansas. Mrs. Coldsnow loved to golf, loved gardening in her flower beds, and her love of fellowshipping with her family and friends was one of her favorite hobbies. She is survived by her daughters: Pam Smith of Linden, Texas ,Sharon Law and her husband Dr. Rex Law of Pittsburg, Texas ,Debbie Shedden and her husband Mike Shedden of Rockport, Texas, and Dana Coldsnow of Longview, Texas; formerly Pittsburg, Texas. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren: Mindi, Wes, Christopher, Lyndi, and Brian; and 4 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, husband: Dr. James W. Coldsnow and her 6 siblings. Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, December 1, 2016 at the First United Methodist Church in Pittsburg. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, one hour prior to the service, at the church. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Mission Chapel Mausoleum in Wichita, Kansas and a memorial service will be held at a later date in Wichita, Kansas
