Obituary of Patricia Ann Reaid Featherston

Patricia Ann Reaid Featherston, age 62, passed away at her home in Pittsburg on Monday morning, November 28. Patricia was born July 8, 1954 in Montgomery, Alabama to Bennie Reaid, Jr. and Margaret Rose Knight Reaid. She obtained certification as a Licensed Vocational Nurse from Western Texas College in Snyder, Texas and enjoyed a long career in the health care industry. Mrs. Featherston spent several years working at the Windsor Place in Daingerfield, and had most recently been working at the Greenhill Villas in Mt. Pleasant where she shared her cheerfulness and kind manor with all those she encountered. Patricia was a devoted mother, grandmother, and sister, and a friend to many. She was a Baptist. Patricia is survived by her son: James Keith Featherston and wife Kary of Gonzales, Louisiana; 4 grandsons: Bailey Calk, Ryan Featherston, Trevor Featherston, and Ethan Featherston; a great-granddaughter: Bella Ann Calk; a sister: Elaine Lawler and husband Glenn of Pittsburg; as well as several nieces and nephews and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Bennie and Margaret Reaid, and a sister: Margaret Diane Propps. Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday, December 1 at the funeral home with Bro. Randy Seybert officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Pittsburg. Visitation will be held from 8:30 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. prior to the funeral service.
