Obituary of Eula Mae Blackwell

Eula Mae Blackwell of Pittsburg, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning at the age of 94. Eula was born August 17, 1922 in Megargel, Texas to Levi Talbott and Irene Barnett Talbott. She wed Homer Blackwell, and had one son: Bobby. Eula worked as a seamstress over 37 years before retiring. She is survived by her son: Bobby W. Blackwell and wife Bonnie, of Pittsburg; 2 Grandchildren: Beverly Easter and husband Randall, of Azle, Texas; and Bobbie Jo Karnes and husband Jay, of Pittsburg, Texas; as well as 7 Great-Grandchildren: Samantha Walsh and husband Joel of Pinedale, Wyoming; Tyler Karnes of Arlington, Texas; Caleb Easter and wife Katie of Azle, Texas; Braden Karnes, of Pittsburg; Sean Karnes of Pittsburg; Joshua Easter of Azle; and Lydia Easter of Azle; as well as 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren: William and Echo Walsh; 2 Brothers: Henry Talbott of San Antonio, and Tommy Talbott of Ft. Worth; a sister: Lizzie Ainsworth of Ft. Worth; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents: Levi and Irene Talbott; her beloved husband Homer Blackwell; a brother: Leroy Talbott; and a sister: Hazel Parker. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, November 26 at Erman Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Doyle Hayes to officiate. Burial will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. Friday, November 25, also at the funeral home.
