Obituary of Eileen Reynolds Unger

Eileen Fay Unger passed away September 2, 2016, in the Heritage Park Village of Mt. Pleasant under the care of Hospice. Eileen was born June 17, 1922, in Louise, Texas, to Henry Lee and Edna Reynolds. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Elrod; granddaughter and husband, Stacey and C. W. Roberts; granddaughter, Tracie Elrod; four great-grandchildren, Tyler Elrod, Cody and wife Amber Lint, Dawson Roberts, Brandi and husband Chris Smallwood; three great-great- grandchildren, Oliver and Colin Smallwood and Ryleigh Raye Lint; a brother, Edson Reynolds; sister and brother-in-law, Jo Ann and Weldon Miller; sister-in-law, Ruby Reynolds Latham, and numerous nieces and nephews. Eileen spent many years in the sewing industry working for Justine McCarty and Cardinal Dress Company of Dallas before moving to Pittsburg. She joined Mike Benet Formals in 1960 and worked there until her retirement in 1982. She was a member of the Greer Boulevard Church of Christ for many years. Eileen was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Unger, her parents, and brothers, James and Ray Reynolds, and sister, Lenelle Hardy Latimer Funeral services will be held 2:30 P.M. Tuesday, September 6 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:30 P.M. to 2:30 P.M. Tuesday, prior to the service.
