Obituary of Muriel Wanda Drennan

Muriel Wanda Drennan, age 89, of Pittsburg, passed away Monday, June 20 in Tyler. Muriel was born December 24, 1926 in Holliday, Texas to John F. Anderson and Margaret Avis Timken Anderson. She was a graduate of Hobart Highschool in Hobart, Oklahoma. On February 14, 1947 she wed James O. Drennan. Over the next 67 years the couple would laugh, love and raise a family. Mrs. Drennan is survived by her son: Jim Drennan of Pittsburg. She was preceded in death by her parents: John and Margaret Anderson; her beloved husband: James "Jimmy" O. Drennan; as well as sisters Lois Belk and Sybil Preutt. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday at the funeral home with Shane Webb officiating. Entombment will follow in Rosewood Park mausoleum in Longview, TX.
