Obituary of Terry John Rozell

Terry John Rozell, age 65, of Pittsburg, passed away Tuesday, May 10 in Tyler, surrounded by his family. Terry was born May 15, 1950 in Borger, Texas to E.A. "Tootsie" Rozell and Bobbie Caviness Rozell. He served in the US Army from 1969 to 1975. Following his service, he married Sherry Johnson on Valentines Day 1980 in Mt. Pleasant. Terry had a passion for motorcycles, especially Harley-Davidsons. He enjoyed riding his black 1947 Knucklehead for many years with Sherry. Terry is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sherry Rozell, of Pittsburg; his sons: James Terry Rozell and wife Lisa of Paris, and Harley Rozell of Pittsburg; a daughter: Krystal Yandle and husband Aaron of Pittsburg; 7 grandchildren: Emily Rozell, Shelby Rozell, Izabella Dewberry, Zoey Rozell, Maycee Yandle, Kayla Reed, and Dalton Rozell; a brother: Tommy Rozell and wife Teri of Pittsburg; and a brother-in-law: Jesse Garcia. He was preceded in death by his parents: E.A. "Tootsie" and Bobbie Rozell; a sister: Jeannie Rozell Garcia; and two sons: Larry Wayne Rozell and James Darrell Rozell. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, May 12 at Bethel Cemetery in Franklin County, with Bro. Gene Lee officiating. Pall bearers will be Chris Rozell, Brandon Newman, Carl Rozell, Tony Rozell, Rodey Jack Landers, Ty McPhearson, Larry Caviness, and Mark Harrison. Honorary Pallbearers are Michael Landers and Josh Nelson. Visitation will be held from 6-8:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 11 at the funeral home.
