Obituary of Jacquelyn Grace Spencer

Jacquelyn Grace Spencer, age 91, of Pittsburg, passed away Saturday morning, March 5 surrounded by her family. Mrs. Spencer was born September 27, 1924 to Fred Hess and Dutch Ingram Hess. Jacquelyn was a devoted wife and loving mother. She always treasured the time she spent with her family. She was a member of the Greer Boulevard Church of Christ in Pittsburg. She is survived by her two sons: Fred Spencer and wife Denise, of Pittsburg, and Gary Spencer and wife Patti, of Bluewater, New Mexico; a daughter: Mandy Carr and husband Bill, of Sautee Nacoochee, Georgia; eight grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; her brother: Richard Spencer, of Longview; numerous nieces, nephews, and many dear friends. Jacquelyn was preceded in death by her parents: Fred and Dutch Hess; and her beloved husband: Dave Spencer. Graveside services will be held 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 8 at Simpsonville Cemetery in Upshur County. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Monday, March 7, at the funeral home.
