Obituary of Mary Alice Allred

Mary Alice Allred, of Pittsburg, passed away Friday, January 22 in Pittsburg at the age of 87. Mary Alice was born February 20, 1928 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to Charles and Osie Inez Morgan. In 1948 she wed George Allred, in the next 67 years they would spend together they would laugh, love and raise a family. Mary was a devoted wife and mother, and later grandmother and great-grandmother. Her family was her life, and she cherished every moment she spent with them. She is survived by her beloved husband George Allred; and daughter: Anita Dvoracek and husband Jim, of Dallas. Also left to cherish her memory are her four grandchildren: Chuck Sinks, Chad Sinks, Jeff Simmons, and Sherri Bowman; eight great grandchildren: Whitney Sinks, Chase Sinks, Lacy Sinks, Chance Sinks, Mac Simmons, Milo Simmons, Marshall Simmons, and Annabel Bowman; along with her two sisters: Evelyne Shannon, of West Columbia, Texas and Pat Latham, of Oklahoma City. Mary Alice was preceded in death by her parents Charles H. Morgan and Osie Inez Crone Morgan; daughter, Ann Simmons, 5 sisters and 2 brothers . Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, January 25 at the funeral home, with Brother Steve Packer officiating. Burial will follow at New Mine Cemetery in Camp County. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until noon, Monday prior to the service.
