Obituary of Etta Faye Broadstreet
Etta Faye Broadstreet, age 94, of Leesburg, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday morning, November 27, 2017, surrounded by her family. Etta was born June 5, 1923 in Pittsburg to Fletcher "Flip" Martin and Emma Gibson Martin.
She is survived by her son: Wayne Broadstreet of Leesburg, and her daughter: Ann Carpenter of Pittsburg; as well as three grandchildren: David Carpenter and wife Becky, Melissa Thornton and husband Roger, and Donna Jeffus and husband Steve; six great-grandchildren: Kayla Green, Shelbi Koreniewski, Karly Thornton, Austin Thornton, Hayden Jeffus, and Cole Jeffus; two great-great-grandchildren: Audy and Macy Korzeniewski; two brothers: Buck Martin and wife Jean of Gilmer, and Johnny Martin and wife Linda of Coke, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband J.W. Broadstreet; her parents: Flip and Emma Martin, four sisters, one brother, and a great-granddaughter: Skylar Carpenter.
A graveside service will be held at 3:30 P.M. Wednesday, November 29, at Leesburg Cemetery with Bro. Ken Manley officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home, prior to the graveside. Pallbearers will be David Carpenter, Roger Thornton, Steve Jeffus, Carl Cravey, Larry Shelton, and David Newsome
