Charles J. Kennington, 85, of Pittsburg, Texas was born January 25, 1932 in Camp County, Texas and died Wednesday, October 4, 2017 in Pittsburg, Texas. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents: Jimmie D. Kennington and Curtis Ehrlich Kennington.

Mr. Kennington is survived by a son: Charles Travis Kennington of Pittsburg, Texas; a daughter: DeeAnn Fitch of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; and 2 grandchildren.

Graveside services for Charles J. Kennington are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 6, 2017 at Ebenezer Cemetery in Camp County, Texas. Bro. Mike Hall will officiate the graveside service. There is no visitation scheduled. Memorials can be made to the charity of your choice.
